The large intestine is 4.5 m to 5 m long and forms part of the pig’s digestive tract.
It is shorter in length than the small intestine and larger in diameter.
The large intestine is removed in our slaughterhouse after slaughter. The intestinal contents are emptied and cleaned.
Once the cleaning process is completed, it is scalded, frozen and packed in food-grade plastic bags.
It is recommended to keep frozen at a temperature of -18 °C
