The caul fat is a fatty membrane whose function is to hold the intestines, stomach, liver and other organs in position.
It is removed from the pig in our slaughterhouse after slaughter. It is emptied of intestinal contents and cleaned.
Once the cleaning process is complete, it is frozen and presented in food-grade plastic bags.
It is recommended to keep frozen at a temperature of -18°C.
