The flower intestine is a membrane consisting mainly of fatty tissue that covers the small intestine. It serves to hold the stomach and intestine to the abdominal walls.
It is removed from the pig in our slaughterhouse after slaughter. It is emptied of intestinal contents and cleaned.
Once the cleaning process has been completed, it is frozen and presented in food-grade plastic bags.
It is recommended to be kept frozen at a temperature of -18 °C.
