28 Feb Winners of the 2022 National Egg Sausage Competition
From Tripnet we would like to congratulate the winners of the 7th National Artisan Egg Sausage Competition, Enric Rosell from Ca l’Estevet (Ordal) in the traditional egg sausage category; in the category of unique egg sausage, to Francesc Colom from Carnisseria Colom-Vila (Manlleu) and in the category of best carnival filling, to Xavi Bou from Xarcuteries Bosch (Barcelona). In this edition, 71 egg sausages and 7 carnival fillings were presented, the highest participation figure of the seven editions of the competition. In addition, it has been the one that has had the most territorial diversity, according to the organizers. It is important to preserve the traditions, reward those professionals who surprise us year after year with their products and continue working to preserve the use of natural casings in the production of sausages.
